MCF’s mindfulness program equips educators and students with practical, evidence-based tools to support self-care, emotional regulation, and resilience in high-stress school environments. Our team has trained thousands of educators across public and private schools nationwide. Led by experts like Dr. Kay Colbert, LCSW, and Sarah Sampson, who has implemented mindfulness programs for over 35,000 students, our training empowers educators to strengthen their own well-being while fostering a supportive and focused learning environment for students.
Our expert instructors provide specialized training to help educators integrate mindfulness into both personal and classroom practices, reinforcing trauma-informed care, school safety, and mental health initiatives. Dr. Christopher Willard, a Harvard professor of mindfulness and psychology and author of many books, including Growing Up Mindful, teaches how mindfulness enhances emotional well-being for school counselors, teachers and students. Meena Srinivasan, a global leader in mindfulness education and author of Teach, Breathe, Learn, trains on embedding mindfulness into school systems to improve student focus, engagement, and behavior. With a whole-school approach, our programs provide both educator-focused support and classroom-based strategies, creating safer, healthier, and more resilient school communities.

Mindfulness Certification for Schools
The Mindfulness Certification for Schools equips educators including teachers, school counselors, coaches, and school administrators with evidence-based tools to foster mental wellbeing in educational settings. Combining 10 hours of expert-led livestreamed instruction with 7 hours of pre-recorded content, the program delivers practical, trauma-informed mindfulness techniques grounded in neuroscience. Participants learn to implement practices that reduce stress and anxiety while improving classroom management and outcomes, with interactive teaching opportunities and personalized feedback.
Certification impact extends beyond individual wellbeing to transform school climate and culture. Participants gain skills to integrate mindfulness into daily routines, creating schools where students better focus and engage with learning. Teachers enhance classroom environments and emotional regulation, counselors integrate mindfulness into mental health support, coaches build team resilience and focused awareness, and administrators cultivate mindful leadership and organizational wellbeing. Graduates are equipped with practical tools to support mental wellness for the whole school.
